Just for fun, the 2nd grade and the 3rd grade had a "snow"ball battle. We didn't get much of a winter, so they were making up for not getting to play in real snow. The kids made snowballs out of newspaper and tape. They fought each other and had lots of fun. They also made snowmen out of their snowballs put into garbage bags. Fun event for the kids!
Also, because we didn't use any snow days (all we used was one 2-hour delay), we now have 2 "snow" days scheduled-- one in April and one in May.
