I didn't do well getting pics this weekend, but we had fun with Mom and Dad S here! They came Thur pm, in time to go to Grace's academic open house and then George and Cheryl's for dessert and telescope unpacking.
Friday, mom and I did some organ/piano, dad decided we needed a new shower head, the 3 of us went out to eat in a Martinsburg diner (local experience!), and we went to Katie's track meet in Hancock. Her main event in her first 3 meets has been the 100 m run. This meet, she ran the 3rd leg of a 4x100 relay, and Faith won by a long shot! It was a bit cold (ask Jenna about her frozen feet), but it didn't rain. Woo-hoo!
In the pic above, K's practicing her baton hand-off.
On Sat, we went to Sweet Frog and the new library in Hagerstown. Beautiful new building!
Not quite sure what Micah's doing...
Katie and Micah both have Mario shirts. Aren't they cute?
Claire enjoyed the lovely weather on Saturday.
What else did we do? Watched a few Cosby shows (thanks, Jer!), ate Reuben Casserole (I think Dad kinda liked it...) and Eclair Dessert (Micah thought it would be better if it were harder :). We heard Micah recite his March poem, laughed about how Micah loves numbers, listened to Katie's recital pieces. You can ask Dad how many naps he took. Probably at least 2 a day. :) Mom did some knitting (made me some great washcloths!). Enjoyed spring!
